A beautiful morning at home. Grandma and Grandpa came over, ribs were being smoked outside for lunch, while real moments were captured between brand-new sisters.  Congrats on your beautiful addition to your family – baby Alyssa.

Everyone meet Grayson - a handsome little man, with gorgeous hair and a heart-melting smile.  This little one stole my heart - what a strong little hero. Baby Grayson was born almost 2.5 months premature weighing only 4 lbs 14 oz.  He quickly fattened up and battled his way out of NICU earlier than expected.  I got the privilege of visiting this family while they were still at the hospital.  Then, a few days after spending weeks in the Royal Alexandra Hospital, I photographed a lifestyle newborn session in the comfort of their beautiful home in Fort Saskatchewan.

The Rilkoff family. They have my heart - they are such a dear, dear family. I offered them the idea of doing a lifestyle session at home. A day in the life photography session...  I wanted to capture them doing real life together.  A favourite style of photography - family photojournalism.  I asked them to keep it real; present the best side of their everyday life.  Leave the messes, soak in the morning together, and enjoy the present.
