Skelding Family – Edmonton Fun Family Photography
Trying to catch up up on some family sessions that we haven't shared to the blog yet and couldn't help but think what a great family, when I saw these photos again. I've had the privilege of photographing the Skelding family a few times and it's always a fun family photography session! They happened to time this session perfectly with their little man's first birthday. They're growing up so fast! So glad we could capture these precious moments.
Grayson – Fort Saskatchewan Newborn Photographer
Everyone meet Grayson - a handsome little man, with gorgeous hair and a heart-melting smile. This little one stole my heart - what a strong little hero. Baby Grayson was born almost 2.5 months premature weighing only 4 lbs 14 oz. He quickly fattened up and battled his way out of NICU earlier than expected. I got the privilege of visiting this family while they were still at the hospital. Then, a few days after spending weeks in the Royal Alexandra Hospital, I photographed a lifestyle newborn session in the comfort of their beautiful home in Fort Saskatchewan.

Khajavis – Edmonton Fall Family Photographer
Fun fun fun! When I first talked with this family they said they were an active family, loved to dance, and be outdoors - well it was so true and I absolutely fell in love with them. Despite being 8.5 months pregnant I had a blast chasing around their boys with my camera, capturing fun candid shots for them to remember. Thanks Khajavis!
Scott & Diana – Fort Saskatchewan Maternity Session
Seeing as these two just announced that they're expecting to the world, I thought it fitting to do a blog post of them today. They found out they were expecting shortly before our lifestyle session and decided to turn the session around to make it a early maternity session and use it for their big announcement. I'm so excited for Scott & Diana - biggest congrats! Fort Saskatchewan maternity session.
Matt & Chantelle – Sunrise Maternity Session
Matt & Chantelle are such a contagiously happy couple! I had such a great time shooting their sunrise maternity photo session. We wandered around Big Hill Springs Park just outside of Calgary, Alberta - even though we were in Canada it felt as if we were somewhere tropical with the beautiful aroma of humidity and a fresh water spring. Well.. until we got into the water, Chantelle braved ice cold water for a few shots and I know how painful it was as I had to join her. We sat on the shore trying to massage feeling back into our frozen off feet and she still had a smile on her face. Baby should be here any day now, all the best to you and ...
Olsen Family – Lifestyle Session Calgary
Carrie wanted to surprise her mom on her birthday with the thoughtful gift of a family lifestyle photo session. They showed up with two tandem bikes to ride at their session and we couldn't have been more thrilled! I'm pretty sure it's impossible to ride one without grinning ear to ear. They let us go for a bike ride after the session around Fish Creek Provincial Park, and it was a blast! We had such a great time with the Olsen family, thanks for letting us capture some moments with your family. And to everyone else, I highly recommend "riding a tandem bike" to your bucket list.

Ice Cream Cones and Yellow – Sherwood Park Pet Photography
What a fun summer night - bright colors, ice cream cones, sprinkles and oh ya... the cutest bullmastiff puppy ever - Meet Yellow! Aaron and Casey got a new puppy and decided to cherish the memories of how small she was with a pet family / lifestyle session. Since we shot this, Yellow isn't so small anymore and their family has grown by one to include Blue, an English Bulldog - congrats on the new puppy!

Davies Family – Edmonton Film Photography Session
The Davies family have a love for the art of film photography. They approached us to see if we would shoot their family session with a few film shots and the more we thought about it, we thought let's make the jump and shoot it all on film. We love shooting film, but have never shot an entire session on film before. As unnatural as it felt to leave all our digital photography gear at home, it was so refreshing to simplify our bag with a few rolls of film and a few old cameras. We photographed this session with a mix of 35mm, 120mm, and even a roll of expired film from 1974. It really brought me back to why I love to shoot film - it makes y ...
