Matt & Jayme – Airdrie Maternity Photographer

maternity

How could I not love shooting this maternity photographer session? Matt & Jayme are up for anything.  I had a few ideas I wanted to try and they were totally game.  When we got to this beautiful old tree location there was a steep hill of sheer ice… I didn’t think it would be safe to climb up, but they did it! Matt helped her up and then Jayme slid back the entire way down; pregnant and all. (note: highly not recommended for pregnant women 😉  Baby Levi is going to be one tough guy like his Momma! Congrats!

Sisterly Love
I had the pleasure of photographing two sisters who happen to be pregnant at the same time. They wanted to cherish their precious moments together with a splash of awkward 80s portraits. These two are amazing; it takes confidence to showcase your true beauty through the awkward photo lens. I hope your Christmas is filled with lots of snuggling by the fire, belly patting, whispering secrets to each other, and braiding each other's hair.

Garrett & Karla – Edmonton Maternity Photo Session
Remember that freezing cold week a month back?  With wind chill it was around -46 Celsius.  Well this was the week of Garrett and Karla's outdoor sunrise, maternity session.  There was one day where it was supposed to warm up a bit and we had everything planned.  I was all bundled up ready to leave the house when Karla phoned me.  All I heard was pain- in a panting, breathless voice... "Karla are you in labour?!" "No, I just have back spasms so painful I can barely breathe, let alone get into the truck. I've been trying for 20 minutes. We HAVE to do the shoot today because Garrett is going out of town again until the baby arrives.  I ju ...
