Little Elliotte was an absolutely perfect little girl.  I just love her name!  Watching her parents adore her made for such a wonderful session.  Congrats on your precious blessing and enjoy your new life as a family.

Davies Family – Edmonton Film Photography Session
The Davies family have a love for the art of film photography.  They approached us to see if we would shoot their family session with a few film shots and the more we thought about it, we thought let's make the jump and shoot it all on film. We love shooting film, but have never shot an entire session on film before. As unnatural as it felt to leave all our digital photography gear at home, it was so refreshing to simplify our bag with a few rolls of film and a few old cameras.  We photographed this session with a mix of 35mm, 120mm, and even a roll of expired film from 1974.  It really brought me back to why I love to shoot film - it makes y ...

I have been feeling led for some time now, to become an affiliate photographer with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep.  I have been through the painful loss of losing two children to pregnancy miscarriage and it has led me to help in the best way I know how, through the memories of photography. A year ago, I met a mother while I was photographing a newborn session who had lost her twins due to premature delivery. Her babies only lived a few hours before passing.
