White Trash Maternity Session
I've had a few requests to see the white trash maternity photos we did one Christmas - so here they are in all their glory! Making a comeback.
It was a typical post-Christmas-family-gathering-feast where everyone is sitting around the living room in food comas... All of a sudden Brandon decides he wants to try on my cousin's hair extensions and behold what unfolded! Meet the true Flynns - our inner beauty revealed. Merry stinkin Christmas.
Garrett & Karla – Edmonton Maternity Photo Session
Remember that freezing cold week a month back? With wind chill it was around -46 Celsius. Well this was the week of Garrett and Karla's outdoor sunrise, maternity session. There was one day where it was supposed to warm up a bit and we had everything planned. I was all bundled up ready to leave the house when Karla phoned me. All I heard was pain- in a panting, breathless voice...
"Karla are you in labour?!"
"No, I just have back spasms so painful I can barely breathe, let alone get into the truck. I've been trying for 20 minutes. We HAVE to do the shoot today because Garrett is going out of town again until the baby arrives. I ju ...
Neve is one
Happy first birthday Neve! This darling turned one and celebrated by breaking into Mama's closet and playing with all the stuff she's not supposed to get into. A one year old girl's dream.
Meet Jax. At just 11 days old, he was just as handsome as he appears in these photos. Look out momma!
Cheesy Christmas Photos
Cheesy Christmas photos are back! I pulled out the box of sweaters and I couldn't resist dressing the kids up. My friend's son was here and poor guy had to join in the fun. I think he loved it - hence all his solo glamour shots. ;) Our son, on the other hand did not see the humor in wearing that sweater... I couldn't even get pants on him. And how do you make a cute little baby girl look cheesy? So hard - every outfit I put her in she just looked cute! Hope the enormous poinsettia headpiece did the trick.
As I was driving out to this family session in Fort Saskatchewan, I was wondering how I was going to keep the attention of a family of seven. But as soon as I met their smiling faces I knew this family was special. What a beautiful family and wonderful children! I had a lot of fun working with the Fermaniuks and was glad to capture a bit of their lovely chaos that is life. :) Who knew they were so acrobatic?!
Leave it to your brother to photo-bomb your time in the spotlight
(not to mention he demanded to wear the coolest outfit ever for the photo shoot)
Little Elliotte was an absolutely perfect little girl. I just love her name! Watching her parents adore her made for such a wonderful session. Congrats on your precious blessing and enjoy your new life as a family.
Cohen was such a sweet little man to photograph - when he finally arrived. He held out till the bitter end on his poor momma - he wanted to make a very fashionably late entrance into the world. He is gorgeous and posed like a trooper when we could get his hands away from his face - he was a bit bashful.
Congrats on your handsome boy Kevin and Kelly!
And lastly the power parents photo! Since our little girl was at the photo shoot I couldn't resist getting a shot of them to surprise everyone with their birth announcements that they are indeed parents of twins!
At last she has arrived, our little girl Wren! Here are a few shots of her at five days old.
